So, I had a bit of a break from the races today. The break, however, only meant one thing — football!!!
I traveled to Oakwood to cover a game between Gainesville High and West Hall High.
The game was….painful to watch. Gainesville (5-0) has been ranked the No. 1 team in the Class AAA division by AP, the AJC and gasports.com. West Hall fought hard, but they really had no chance.
Gainesville came out victorious 56-12.
I don’t really know what was going on here….cheerleaders being cheerleaders, I suppose?
And I guess Chris West just doesn’t want to lose his gloves? Ingenius!
