Sometimes when you’re given a portrait assignment, you have time to think out the pose, the environment in which to take the photo, and even the lighting. Other times, however, you have only minutes to decide how to best frame the subject. This is definitely one of those times.I sat down with Cameron Ellis, a UGA tennis player, for about 5 minutes and this is what I came up with. I didn’t want your general run-of-the-mill smiley athlete, so I asked Cameron to put on her game face. This is the best shot from the bunch.
