So last night, my brother came to Athens to see Del the Funky Homosapien at the Georgia Theatre. For those of you who don’t listen to conscious hip hop, Del is among the greatest. Unknown to television and radio for the most part, Del has been around for over a decade. Del raps about social issues and his message is anything but light and flighty. He also takes on the identity of Deltron Zero, an MC from the future and Del tha Funkee Homosapien.
